Strength Coach & Personal Trainer
Hi and welcome to my site. My name is Jonny Jacobs and I am a strength and performance coach and personal trainer working out of gym in South West London. I qualified as personal trainer back in 2001 with YMCAfit. I graduated in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science and Coaching (concentrating on male body image) from Northumbria University in Newcastle. I then went onto complete my MSc in Strength and Conditioning (my dissertation was on male strength coaches body image perceptions and their use of impression management strategies) graduating in 2014 from St Mary's University, Twickenham.
I have worked with a diverse range of clients from city lawyers and bankers, Hollywood film producers, professional rugby players, the everyday person and serving British Army soldiers. My main focus for all clients regardless of background and goal is to increase strength through a simple resistance training and body weight exercises. This in turn with basic nutritional guidelines and leading a more active lifestyle creates a stronger, leaner, healthier and more confident person.
I am truly passionate about coaching and believe everyone can train like an athlete.
